Nafa Naana is a Burkinabé social enterprise that distributes clean and efficient energy equipment. Nafa Naana works along side the French NGO Entrepreneurs du Monde, which has been working with people in developing countries since 1998. Since its creation, and thanks to the support of Entrepreneurs du Monde, Nafa Naana has distributed more than 40,000 solar lamps and cooking equipment through a network of a hundred micro-entrepreneurs and women's groups.

The LAGAZEL company, created by Les Frères Arnaud and Maxence Chabanne, is the first company to industrialize the manufacture of solar lamps in Africa. Its manufacturing factory, located in Burkina Faso, employs about fifteen people and manufactures several thousand lamps of very high quality per month.

To maximize the impact of the operation, Nafa Naana will focus on structured women's groups (eg cooperatives of shea or sesame butter producers, or savings and credit groups). In order to carry out an awareness campaign with a group of several hundred women, in which it is estimated that about 200 to 300 women will choose to equip themselves with energy products thanks to the financial resources put in place, we need 3,500 €.
Your donations will fund:
- Awareness-raising activities on energy deficiency;
- Delivery of lamps in rural areas, training in the use of products and operation of the warranty;
- Discounts on the purchase of lamps in the form of a voucher (up to 50%);
- Credit management and monitoring of the use of products.
Your donations will be collected by the NGO Entrepreneurs du Monde, approved by the Comité de la Charte du don en confiance, and donated in full to the NAFA NAANA program. Your donation is deductible from your taxes.
